Eunice Salinas is a Director at Hito LLC and oversees tax credit and incentive projects nationwide. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. She is an enrolled agent, empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for tax issues including audits, collections, and appeals.
Over the past 11 years working as a tax specialty advisor, Eunice was responsible for the business development efforts for cost segregation and tangible property tax related services including proposal writing, client discovery, and client management. Eunice has led and managed various client accounts, from multinational Fortune 500 companies, the middle market, in addition to small businesses and sole proprietors. She has also provided various continuing education presentations related to tax credit and incentives to C-level executives, client upper management teams, as well as internal presentations throughout the west region to tax, audit, and consulting professionals.
Prior to joining Hito, Eunice worked for RSM US LLP managing the Tangible Property Service practice in the west region, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. She specialized in cost segregation studies, fixed asset reviews, repair and maintenance reviews, and other tangible property related tax services. Prior to RSM, Eunice worked for PwC Los Angeles in their tax consulting team where she managed tax specialty teams on Fortune 50 tax specialty engagements that have garnered clients millions of dollars in tax savings.
Community is also important to Eunice. She is an avid volunteer and spent 9 years in mentoring and leadership roles for Minds Matter of Los Angeles in addition to completing a 2 year board member appointment at the Association of Latino Professionals For America (2018-2020) Los Angeles Chapter. In her free time, she volunteers weekly in her local church’s food bank, which gives twice weekly donations. She also enjoys traveling.
